Casio Men’s Classic Analog Watch #MQ24-7E
Review
Given the cost of plastic – it would be so much easier to add 1/2″ to the length of the band (granted – I have the wrists of a gorilla with pituitary issues) and allow people to trim the excess. I love the watch but I think I may have to send it back as I cannot get the band to buckle correctly. For those with human sized wrists, it’s a great watch – thin, stylish, inexpensive.
To stretch the band out (a warranty voider for sure) boil some water in a pan – repeatedly dip the band in the boiling water and then stretch it out – or if you need a lot of give (1/2 inch or so) buckle it, dip it in the boiling water and stretch it by putting it over a THICK (to avoid glass breakage) tapered drinking glass whose base is smaller than your wrist, and who’s top is larger. Do this repeatedly and the band will eventually stretch out 1/4-1/2 inch to fit larger wrists.
I know – it sounds like a lot of work to make a watch fit, but that’s how much I like it – it’s simple, tasteful, keeps good time, and looks professional without being ostentatious.
